I do like mine (Melissa) and that I have name song (thank you Allman Brothers) - but sometimes I think it would be cool to go by Lola or Sofia. Did you ever want to change your first name, even just temporarily? What would you change it to?

Mine is ok,-Lauren- I get called Laura or Laurie a lot though. Sometimes I just want to say 'how come you people can't get it right, is it really that hard??'

Hated mine growing up because no one could ever get it right. (Janna) I wanted to change it to something no one could screw up, like Christine or Allison.
Now people still screw it up, but I've come to get used to it, since it's original, kind of like me!!

I used to HATE mine, but now I like it. If I can get someone to actually understand what it is, they usually don't forget it!

YES!! I love it...and I love being asked 'are you Russian?' and seeing the puzzled look in people's faces when I tell them that I'm 100% Puerto Rican...born and raised!!
Sasha isn't a popular name and I like that.
I love my middle name more though!

same here- my name is melissa too! i think its elegant and pretty- just like us! LOL i use my nicknames to be more 'exotic' - everyone remembers Missy i also like Miss, Mel. Meliss etc.
Id probably change it to another M name like Morgan or Michelle or something

I love mine - Suzanne. Although I get annoyed when people call me Susan - cause it is a different name afterall! When I was younger, I wanted a more unique name - but Suzanne is good enough

I like how they sound together!! Melissa Carmela!! In my family, it's all about middle names...we all have them...and some crazy first names too.
