I like my name...its not all that common, but also not unknown. Caroline.

I used to hate it though when I was younger, so everyone really calls me Cari.

I love my name Victoria. I hate it when people call me VICS, and when I was in PRE-K I would scream, cry,and puke when my teacher called me Tori. So people started calling Vickie. When I started my job 11 years ago I introduced myself as Victoria and it stuck at work.
I don't care what name comes out first.
My first and last name are regal, my last name means Queen.

I was in the shower this morning thinking about it.... Everyone says Michelle is a pretty name but I think it's somewhat generic. if I could pick I would be Alexis or Alexandra.

Yep, that is my name too. Well, technically- it's Michelina but still everyone calls me Michele.

I used to dislike my name (Nicole) because everyone had that name when I was growing up! It seems more and more the name has dwindled in popularity so I like it much better now!

I dont like my first name, but its ok because everyone calls me Dee...I just think its too outdated. I was a baby in the 80s i dont know what my mother was thinking.

ohhhh i totally hate my name, I'm named after my grandmother Margherita, but my mom decided to give me the English version Margaret which I hate... it's such an old lady's name

Thankfully my parents called me Maggie from day one so that's what I've always been known as, but in school and on my credit cards (all legal papers, etc) whenever I see my actual name I cringe.

the best part of Maggie is trying to get my Italian (non english speaking) family to pronounce it correctly LOL

I like my name as well....I would name my daughter (Bianca) if that wasn't my name. I don't like the whole idea of giving my dtr the same name as mine.

I don't like mine at all, I don't think it fits me-Theresa, but just about everyone calls me Teri. At work I go by Theresa, this way I can keep it more professional.

And if you ask FH what my name is, he will never tell you Theresa, he won't even say it

Up until high school I really hated my name.

When I was in pre school people would say Wi-Wa, and that drove me nuts.Picture me as a four year old who could say 'L's and was trying to teach other kids good pronunciation on the playground.

And then when I got to kindergarten and beyond I hated how no one could ever read my name and pronounce it right. Leela. Lilla. Layla. Ugh.

Now I like it because it's different and pretty. I like that I'm the only person I know who has my name, although I hate how people constantly say 'Do you know what your name means in my language?' Yes. Yes I do.

Lila pronounce Lie-lah.

hmm.. i never really thought about this.. I guess I do.. I don't have any other name I would want to change it to. If I did, I would just use the name for my kids instead.
