Do you like your first name? Do you have a nickname?

My first name is Maureen which I hated as a child but I really like it now. My nickname is Mo or MoMo. I can't stand to be called Reenie

I also hated my name as a child and insisted people call me something else But now I'm just indifferent to it. People call me Rae(but I only allow family or old friends too because I hate that), Rach, princess, but BITCHface usually suffices

I love my first name..Lara. What I hated were the mistakes that were always made on it! Tara, Sara, Mara....

My nicknames are La, Lala, Rara (my dh calls me that ) and..Bubbles.

What can I say, if the name fits, right? Hahaha....just kidding. But I was super beotchy in high school, so I got the nickname of princess from my friends

My first name is Joanna, but most of my close friends call me Jo. My dad calls me Joey. He's the only one allowed to call me that!

I can deal with Olga in Greek - has a nice ring to it. But I hate and I mean DESPISE when people call me 'ALLLL GA' IT'S a LONGGGG O not a short one

Hated it as a kid and still hate it!

I am thankful that the Bionic Woman is no longer on the air and that there are more girls now with the name!

Well, my name is Michelle (mind you with 2 LL's)

As a kids I was always calles shells(hate it), my godmother still calls me it though

Now everyone calls me Mish!

I do like my first name -Jillian, however people take it upon themselves to shorten it to Jill which I can't stand. But most of my family members call me Jill, so I have learned to live with it. I like Jillian a lot better than Jill. I think it comes down to the syllables, 1 versus 3!!!!

The only nickname I have for my first name is Mare.

Used to hate my name but I like it now because not that many people have it. The most common nickname for me is 'Wen'. More people call me that than Wendy.

I am called Hol...and I do not mind it, but I prpefer it from friends/family..not biotchy co-workers.....And My dad always used to call me Holly Berry:)

ANd Dan...HE HATES DAnny and his whole family calls him that or Daniel...he just wants to be plain Dan....THAts it....Danny sounds so old school like he is a little kid!

Yeah, JT is really really picky that people call him JT and not James or Jimmy or just J, which is how lazy his mother is, she can't even say the second letter! His father is James as well, so, he just feels his name is JT.

I don't mind my name, (joanna) but I HATE when people call me Joann. Not that I hate that name, but it's just not MY name!
Most people call me Jo, too!

I love my name. Some friends call me Tray or T I prefer my full name.

My family is not big on nicknames. We call EVERYONE in my family by there full name.

That's why whenever someone calls my son Pat, Paddy, Paddy Mc. It drives me nuts!! His name is PATRICK!!!

I used to hate it - it is definitely different though - Georgia - everyone and I mean everyone thinks my parents named me after the state - NO they didnt - its the female version of George -

Everyone also thinks it is really unique to ask me if I have ever heard of the song sweet georgia brown, or georgia on my mind - Yes i have heard them all!! people used to always start singing to me!!

When people look at me strange when i tell them my name or want to know how to spell it - all i say is like the state!

Nicknames? A bunch - G, Gia, George, Georgie (my 5th grade teacher called me this! ) - Julie

My first name is Nicole. I like it, and no one had ever called me Nick or Nicki until I met FI.. he is the only one who always calls me Nicki. My family calls me COLEY.. huh? I don't know where it came from, but I don't see them enough to complain
