Do you or will you call your (F)MIL/ (F)FIL mom and dad?

and how did that come about? did they ask you to call them that? and what does your dh/fh call (or will call) your parents?

I call my MIL by her first name and I don't call my FIL anything!! I guess if I did it would be Mr.M.

My DH calls my mom and dad by their first names.....

we call eachothers parents by their 1st names

I'm not calling my FILs mom or dad. I just call my FMIL by her first name, and my FFIL Mr. M. Joe calls my parents by their first names. So far no one has a problem with it. I personally don't want that to change.

I see FILs VERY often...BUT I will not call them Mom/Dad... They are good to us, they are nice people, but they are not my parents- the words do not flow naturally... Fh calls my dad Joey (his name is Joseph) and my mom Lorraine... I call his mom Elena and his dad-nothing really- but if I have to -Carlos (but it is weird since Fhs name is Carlos)

In cards we use Mom and dad for both...but we sign from both of us so it seems appropriate
