For those of you having the DJ do your CH....how does that work? They have a smaller set up for the CH room?

Yes, my DJ told me that it was a portable system that they brought to the ceremony and CH.

We're actually having a jazz trio for the CH. My mother insisted on this and paid the extra money for it. If it were left up to me I would have just had the DJ do it.

My DJ will put a small system in the room and it will play backround music. I am not getting live music. (Trying so save some money)

We were going to have our dj play music but decided not to. Our hall told us that they can just pipe music in. In the end, I am happy we didn't because we saved money and no one noticed. Most of my guests actually commented on how good the music was during the cocktail hour.

if its included then yea sure why not if its extra no wayy.... this is what I mean by eliminating the extra stuff to save money...

yes .....we got a band and the cocktail hour includes a paino/keyboard guy for the cocktail

Yes. Our DJ is doing ceremony music as well as cocktail hour and reception.

yes, we are having a 3 peice jazz ensemble play on the peir, weather permitting! It is going to be so NICE!! I have never seen that before and can't wait to do something different at our wedding!

Our RH has a piano in the CH room that electronically plays. We not not have to pay extra for this.

We fell in love with the trumpets at the ceremony in the church and called Kings Brass and found that they also have coctail music. We haven't decided what to do yet because it is still too early in our planning. There are so many choices, but we definitely will have the trumpets.
