Shopping in Bloomie's this weekend I couldnt get over the fact that every pair of jeans was $80 and up and I mean UP there! I admit to owning a pair of Citizens (which I did not purchase) and Seven. Yes, they fit pretty decent. Im short so anything having to be hemmed is a problem since Im already spending around $80 and another $10 to hem.
My luck has only been Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle who have short and a price range of $30 and up...a little more reasonable.
Are the pricey ones really worth it? I cant seem to do it, spend that money!

I do! I wear jeans so often, even when I go out, so I dont mind spending the money on them. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit me right anyway, so when I find a pair, no matter what brand they are I will buy them. Unfortunately for me, these are usually the more expensive ones that fit better. I have 2 pairs of Seven jeans, one Blue Cult and some from DKNY, American Eagle and Express.
FYI: I bought a pair of Sevens at Macy's in the city the other day and they were $79 in comparison to the $150 that I spent at Bloomies!

I like American Eagle jeans...they seem to fit nice. I refuse to spend that kind of money on a pair of jeans....

Most of the jeans I have are Mavi, which run $70-90. I am very petite (4'8') and curvy, so I just get boot cut style in a 30' inseam and have them hemmed and they look fine. I justify the price by the fact that I wear them all the time, they're comfortable and not too tight and have lasted a long time still looking great.

I think sevens and citisens are soooooooo comfortable! They are a little too low, but they actually fit my waist and my butt at the same time!

mt favorite jeans are Gap Long and lean!! love them!!! they are only 40-60 dollars and you can get them on sale alot...they also come in short (ankle) regular and tall!!

It's so funny that you post this now. I just spent the afternoon with my cousin who wanted to buy a pair for $165 and could not understand why I thought she was out of her mind!

I buy gap jeans when they are on sale (or if I LOVE them, I will sometimes buy them at full price.)

I wear jeans alot too and once I get that great fitting pair(and the fading has to be good too!)- I can really tell how some of the others just don't fit good. I'm tall and need a 35/36 inseam -not always easy to find. I like the Abercrombie madisons, blue cult,lucky. looking to get a pair of sevens off ebay but they're not always 'authentic'.

Im guilty of owning way tooooo many pairs of sevens..I am now liking lucky jeans and they are a bit cheaper..I really need to quit shopping..I shop when stressed..its a bad habit!
