Shopping in Bloomie's this weekend I couldnt get over the fact that every pair of jeans was $80 and up and I mean UP there! I admit to owning a pair of Citizens (which I did not purchase) and Seven. Yes, they fit pretty decent. Im short so anything having to be hemmed is a problem since Im already spending around $80 and another $10 to hem.
My luck has only been Abercrombie & Fitch and American Eagle who have short and a price range of $30 and up...a little more reasonable.
Are the pricey ones really worth it? I cant seem to do it, spend that money!

try forever 21 i have 3 pairs from there and that is all i wear. i have some from tj maxx too... i personally cant see spending over $50 on jeans as the styles change and so does my figure

I got my Sevens on ebay as well. I tried them on in the store, saw which fits best, then waited till a person was selling my size on ebay

No I don't spend alot on jeans... I buy Express and NY & Co jeans when they are on sale.

ETA: huge fan of citizen jeans,,I dont like the way sevens look on me..

they fit great, they are supposed to hug all your curves which they do, the only thing that they are too long for me but that can easily be fixed.

I won't spend a lot on jeans. My favorite jeans (the ones that are the most flattering to my derriere) are from NY&Co. They have good prices, good sales and they often send coupons. I always get compliments when I wear those jeans.

I don't really. I don't get my jeans hemmed, so I I don't even bother lokoing at Brands like Seven & Lucky.
If I wasn't so short, I might spend the $ though. They always seem to have better washes & shpaes. Everything in the gap is jsut strecthy & boring. My favorite jeans are actually a pair of Hilfiger petites, which are a little strechy, but not as bad as the Gap. I think they wer eon sale at L &T. I also liek Calvin Klien, I have found a few that arne't too long, but I buy them at Filene's basement or TJ Max. I guess I sually don't spend more than $60/pair, but I don't own many pairs.

Mostly have Old Navy, some old Gap jeans before they were like $60 (I returned a pair I loved that fit great because $58 was just more than I was willing to spend).
I just got a pair of Levis that were marked down at Sears for $14, and the same pair in a different shade on ebay for $24 with shipping.

I usually buy my jeans at GAP, I have a few pairs from Old Navy - but I notice that the Old Navys fall apart more quickly.

I actually have a few pairs of Citizens and they keep stretching out on me. I personally don't think they wash well. My new love is Notify jeans..they fit amazing on me-they were ridiculously expensive though.

NY&Company jeans are supposed to be the BEST!!!! They spend a lot of $$ on trying to make the best-fitting jeans for women.
(Can you tell my DH works for them??? Too bad they don't make anything in my size!! )

I bought a pair of Notify jeans and was disappointed. They are supposed to have a 36' inseam and they are not even close. (So that $200+ pair of jeans are just hanging in my closet. )
I have 'Tall' Sevens, but again, I can only wear them with flip-flops.
I'm pretty much stuck with Gap Extra-Long jeans until some of the manufacturers start making them truly longer.
