I ALWAYS feel like I'm still 13 or something, and I'm just playing along in this cool grownup game where I have a husband, nice house, good job, and now a dog Seems kinda silly - I just turned 26 but I swear I still feel like a little kid! It's wierd too, because I think I'm the only who feels like this, and everyone knows how to act all adultish. I almost wish there was some kind of how-to manual on acting your age - because I feel like everyone I know tries to act older than they really are - or maybe I'm just immature and everyone else grew up??? Am I completely nuts, or does anyone else feel like this? Thanks for humoring my random question of the day!

YES i'm a really responsible person, but i was a really responsible kid, too...i was an old kids, but now i feel like a young adult. i love to have fun living and the way i am with my students, i'm not like an old teacher. but i do feel like a 21 year old sometimes. it is a great thing!

Yes I totally feel this way. I'm 34!! but look younger and feel younger. I can be silly and immature at times and I tend to be non-confrontational. I love going to my parents' house where they still spoil me & treat me like I'm 15. I teach 3 year olds and I guess that keeps me young too.
Glad I'm not the only one.
My dad is always saying, you can be so immature at times. You can't be silly all the time.
Oh well.

OMG, i feel like this too...it is funny because one of FHs friends is here and his bday is sat, mine is sunday but i will be 25 and he will be 24...well he says to me...Bethy...so how does it feel to be turning a quarter of a century this weekend....WHAT TIMING that iw as reading this post....anyway...
I AM TOTALLY STILL A KID! (i can just play a grown up well when i need to)

I totally feel like I am still 13 (some days 8!!!) I look really young too, so that doesn't help. When I went to try wedding gowns on I felt like I was a kid trying on costumes for Halloween or something! I always thought being 24 would feel different...but it really doesn't! I also feel as if I am just playing 'grown up' as opposed to actually being a 'grown up'!!!

I bought my friend a shirt that said that for his 25th B-day. The next day, for my 24th b-day, he got me a shirt from Toys R Us that says, 'Growing up is not an option'. It's looks like it's written in crayon..one of my favorite shirts!
