sending out my Save the Dates now is too soon. I am getting married in Oct of 07 and we were planning on sending them out in January/Feb, but my FH just found out that his cousin got engaged and they are planning for Oct of 07. What do you think?

hmm... maybe in the fall? but perhaps call the cousin and make sure you don't plan them on the same date?!

I would send them out September...ish... But whenever you feel comfortable to send them I am sure it is fine ~ I am sending my STD's August/September myself ~ like you I have a bunch of Friends getting married in 07...it is quite difficult ~ We might have a friend of my FH getting married the same month (I just hope that is does not happen on the same day) Then some friends will feel divided...

i'd call the cousin and see what her date is and send them in the fall. someone might need to budge on their date....so i'd find out now so if she hasn't booked a hall, she can change hers maybe?
