Do you think a florist will do this for me???

Hi Gals,

I hate to sound old-school- but i HATE the way bo-ks look these days. when my 2 of my BM's got married they had their bo-ks in a holder. There was no stems sticking out, there was no ribbon wrapped around the stems. The whole bo-k was in some type of plastic holder. I want that!!!
Do florists do that anymore???
Does anyone know of a florist that might???
Thanks.

They probably would if you asked them too...I can't see why they wouldn't, unless they don't stock the pieces and don't want to get them in specifically for you. It can't hurt to ask.

the holder is called a 'Mussty Tussy' ridiculious sounding I know....you can either provide one to the florist or i'm sure they can get one for you.....heres a pic of one.....this one has a stand along with it:

Those look really small.
The ones ive seen in Michaels is plasitc with styrofoam in it and you poke the flowers right into the strofoam. the bottom is a plastic handle that you hold.
These may look nicer than plastic though.

As long as you purchase it, that should not be a problem for them to use it

They still use them to make communion bok's so I'm sure they can find one to use that's a little larger to use for yours... I would just ask.

Florists still use the plastic holders. Not very comfortable to hold, especially if the bo-k is heavy.
If you want a cascading bo-k, this is the only thing that will hold them.
The silver thing is a tussy mussy. It dates from Victorian times, and the stand was used to hold the bo-k up, as if it were in a vase. It is for small bo-ks.
