Do you think its tacky???

I have no idea what the plans are for my bridal shower since my MOH wants to keep is a BIG secret (I hate secrets).

However, I was thinking about giving my sister/MOH 20% off BB&B coupons to include with the invitations. I have a TON of them at home just sitting around and I could never use all of them.

What do you guys think?

They drop them off in bundles at my apt. complex...I have tons....I may make a joke of it as everyone knows how I love deals....

tacky or not...everyone loves a coupon...or at least I do....

I dont' think it's tacky. It gives people that are buying your gifts money off! Who doesn't like coupons?

That's what I was thinking....plus I might get something nicer (that probably sounds bad tho),I know that I'm the type that whenever I use a coupon for a wedding gift, I always spend a little bit more because I was already planning to spend a certain amount.

Personally, if I received a shower invite along with a 20 % off coupon to where that person is registered, I would be so excited I would spend 20% MORE than I normally would...

I say go for it, it's a shower invitation...

I'm just worried that people might think i'm FORCING it on them. Like they have to go with BB&B. I'm the type that I don't care where they buy the gift as long as they are getting a good deal.

Also keep in mind bed bath accepts competitors coupons as does fortunoff. I just bought a gift for a friend at fortunoff and used my unexpired bed bath and beyond coupon.

Also bed bath takes their own expired coupons, other stores don't take the expired ones from competitors (just the new ones),

It's funny because a few years ago I had soooo many weddings and I couldn't find any. Now I have so many I don't know what to do with them. I know that FMIL has a bunch also.

You can sign up to recieve them in the mail. Just go to the BB&B website. I get one almost every week in the mail. Sometimes its addressed to me, sometimes just resident.

Also, almost every week in the Sunday newspaper they have either BB&B or L&T. This weekend there was 3!!!

WOW I didn't know fortunoffs accepted them too. Thats interesting. I didn't register there because I thought they were too pricey and I don't think I've ever seen coupons.

If you ever want any, let me know...they put about 25-30 in the front of my apt. building every week...plus the mail! I have a drawer full!
