Okay so I got a call from a 516 number and didn't answer because I did not recognize the caller. So I listen to the message, and it is a woman's voice saying 'This is **** calling from **** Limousine Service. I'm calling to set up an appointment for your transportation for the day of your wedding. Please call me at 516-***-****. Thank you.'
I've never even heard of this limo service as I have not even begun to look at limo companies. I never contacted these people. I don't mind receiving advertisements via email or USPS but I think it is pushy to call me up and tell me they are going to set up an appt. with me. They didn't even say they were calling to see if I was even interested in them. Idk, am I being ridiculous?? Or is that a little inappropriate?

You may also be getting it b/c a lot of vendors look up our info here on LIW. I've had several vendors call saying they found out from LIW that I'm getting married.
If you get a message, delete it. If you pick up the phone, just tell them you're not ready yet or you've already booked. No big deal.

I get a million of those phone calls... It is very annoying but I never pick up and just let it go to voicemail
