Especially with your FH/DH. I never thought I was, but I'm starting to think I might be. I wish I could look at myself from another's eyes instead of my own. I'd probably shock myself Just curious....

No, I'm not at all. I'll admit, I'm a bit needier now that I'm pregnant and require a little more attention from DH, but aside from that, not really. I'm certainly not controlling in the least bit. If DH wants to go out with his buddies, he's free to whenever he wants. If he comes home to me instead, it's always his choice with no influence from me whatsoever.

I was when I was younger. I was so bad with my first boyfriend, it's a wonder he'll still even talk to me (not that he was the perfect boyfriend), but I've gotten better. It's not something I'm proud of. At first i had big problems with it with Fh because we started dating at the end of our Jr year of HS and I wanted him to stay in NY and go to NYU so he could be near me, and he didn't want that, and the anticipation of him going away KILLED ME and then him being away was awful, and I really did trust him, it was just insecurity within myself, but over time it did get better, and actually even Fh says that since we're engaged I'm a LOT better. I feel a lot more secure and relaxed.

i have my needy moments w/ DH. but more so b/c i just cant do certain things- like make myself food. even the microwave things.... i know how to microwave it, but i'm not creative w/ 'throwing meals together', so unless its set up to just be heated up, i'm useless.
not controlling though. but part of that is also that i think i'd be Really turned off if DH was 'controllable'.. if that makes sense?

I have my moments, but I do try not to be. I am a control freak in aspects of my life though, but I try not to let it effect our relationship.

I used to be very needy and controlling when I was with ex-bf's. Like Marymoon, I am not proud of that. I am much better with FH.

No....Not needy at all. Never was. I don't know why but i am and always been a do it yourself kinda person. If i do need help i will call and ask for it. But i am far from needy. Controlling...YES. I am without a doubt.

i'm both but moreso controlling. my friends and family would agree. i like things done in a certain way and when i catch myself possibly going too far i back off (but not with husband sometimes). i can be a mean b1tch when it comes to my own husband. damn! i'm having my own intervention.. from here on i should better myself *wink-wink*
i'm also needy if husband is away for too long. i get so whiny!

I don't think I have ever been controlling. However, for me, the fact that I wasn't needy with DH told me that he was the man for me (among other reasons). My neediness was brought out when dating other men and it was because often they made me feel like I needed to be that way, or they acted in ways that made me wonder if they really liked me. Hence, neediness. DH never made me wonder so I never felt needy.

I feel like I'm a little needy with DH. Weird cause I've never been that way. Don't know why but I don't like it. Controlling, no... maybe sometimes a little.

Not needy, but I guess I could be called controlling- not so much because I need to be in control of him, but because I have a tendency of thinking that I am a better decision maker . . . I am trying not to be though . . .

Needy? only in the fact that I need DH around to fall asleep. Otherwise I take charge in most situations.
Controlling? yes I can be. I do have a severe stubborn streak and can only see my way until I walk away from a topic, think and talk things through.
But then again, DH has learned that even after discussing things I usually am right

Controlling...no. Needy, somewhat. I like to have a lot of affection from FH, and when I'm feeling down, I need him to tell me everything is going to be okay.
