A colleague and I just discussed this and just curious to others comments. We were talking about a couple other co-workers who we can't understand.

Nope I dont trust everyone. This is one girl in my office that I trust but thats it. Everyone else has a big mouth.

I used to be very trusting. But after enough disappointments, you learn to be choosey about who you trust. Now I seem to approach people with a wait and see attitude. I take time to get to know them before I decide if they are trustworthy.

I don't trust almost NO ONE.. very hard to trust when you've been burned so many times and it's even sadder when it includes family..
Of course I do my special friend!!

We have a couple of sleazy people here. Who we know for a fact will turn their back on you if you need them to back you up on something. Or another who never admits to a mistake so he doesn't look bad in front of his boss. This person we call smooch butt! OR the best one, someone who blames someone else for their mistakes!!! How do you live with yourself doing stuff like this?

I am just like Theresa and Marcella. Overall it takes a long time for me to actually trust someone. And there are only a limited few people I trust completely and whole heartedly.
But at work I always have my guard up. These back stabbing people can never be trusted. This is why at first at a new job I am really quiet. Then once I get to know them, I let my guard down just a bit.

I don't make friends at work.. I have 1 friend and she is 42.. no one knows who the REAL Marcella is.. I act/dress differently here and I want people to think I'm this quiet little dork who keeps to herself..
I don't let anyone know too much info either..

I agree with not giving out too much info at work, definitely. My friend that is my BM , we just had so much in common, that we clicked. But that's rare!

At work I have a couple of girls that I can trust, were close knit. But other than that I dont trust anyone!!
