We are going to wait a year and then decide. I am 31 and my Gyno said not to take too long... we will see... I wonder how long you can keep a baby in a 1 bedroom apartment!!!!

I'm going to be 30 and he'll be 32 and although I'm saying the day after the honeymoon he would like to wait until the spring time when we move to Maryland. He's always such a smart sman, it scares me. But I'm going off the pill the day after the honeymoon but will be trying the 'natural family planning' in the meanwhile. We'll see. I think if it was up to fh, we'd go right ahead, but I think I'd like some time to travel and just be married for awhile before we take that next MAJOR step...I'm excited for it someday, but haven't decided exactly when that will be....

I'm getting off the birth control about 3 months before I get married then whatever happens happens....we're ready, we already have the house.

He will be 35 and I 30 when we are married so we are going to start trying on our 1 yr anniversary if we can swing it financially!

We're both 30 and have a house but just want a year or two to us before we have kids. So maybe this time next year we'll start thinking about it.

I'm 33, he's 30...have the house, been together 3 years, married 1 year...still the bug isn't biting us yet!!! Although I'm aware of the ticking!! hmmmm

Since my 1st time will be our wedding night, and I won't be on any birth control, I could be pregant on my wedding night, or could be months after. . .who knows!! When ever FH and I get pregant is fine with us. Right now I'm young enough to not have that tickink clock feeling. But I'd still rather it sooner than later.

Congrats!! I'm always so happy to hear about other ladies who are waiting to have their 1st time on their wedding night. It shows me that I'm not the only one left, cause most of the time I feel that way.

We're waiting. I'm not 21 anymore and FI is 6 years old than me. I think being married and living together will be an adjustment so we are planning to wait a couple of years.

FI has a 10 year old son already though.

Do what's right for you. My good friend met a guy in December 2003, married him in May 2005 and had their first baby last night.



Her GYN gave her all the horror stories about waiting and I think that prompted it - but they both wanted kids right away. She is over 35 and their new house is supposedly going to be done in 1 - 2 months. The plumbing and electrical are done and the drywall goes up this month

It all happened very fast for her but she wanted it this way. She told her husband on the first or second date that she wanted to be engaged within a year and if that was not in his plans, they did not need to see each other again. She told him about wanting a baby right away too. She had dated one guy before that and told him the same thing and he decided he did not want to settle down yet.

We're probably going to wait about a year or two... We reallly want some time for just us before we have a family.

well, me and FH have been together 10 years this month. I have the whatever happens happens after we're married. As long as we buy a house or condo as planned before the wedding or shortly there after..., I'm totally ready to be a mommy.
