My friends and I have this convo last night. and I was shocked to hear that some of them left their rings on when they went to sleep. I take mine off every night.

The whole first week that we got engaged, I would take my ring off because I was not used to sleeping with anything on. However, I am extremely fine with it now and she DOES NOT come off unless I'm in the shower, washing my face, and/or doing things that could possibly harm her. Oh and of course cleaning her.

I'm a total bonehead and would lose it if I took it off.
haha me too. I only take it off when I'm handling paint or something. I sometimes freak out and feel my hand to make sure it's still there and I didn't lose it.

I leave it on. I original didnt even want an ering because I am know to lose rings and gave my fiance specific rules that if I must have on. but my fiance listened and did better than I though he could find with all my rules, i fell in love and havent taken it off except when i shower. I am going to miss wearing when the top gets changed.

No... I dont sleep with my ring. I did once & it ended up on the side of the bed LOL....
but i put it on as soon as i wake up & i take it off after I have lay donw in bed.

LOL I literally analyze my ring at least once a day to make sure the diamond is secure and all of the baby diamonds are there.

eta: what are the reasons you ladies take it off?
i hate cleaning it and i find myself washing and lotioning up a lot more at home so i take it off...plus i dont want to knock it around the house with whatever i'm doing so it comes off right away

I take it off to sleep, do dishes and shower... I also dont wear it to concerts, as i am afraid of damaging it when i mosh, not kidding.
MY FMIL bought me the cutest ring holder that i keep by the sink and use when I do dishes. At night it goes back in its box, I wear no jewelery to bed!

LMAO! I do exactly the same, my ring has 6 legs to hold the diamond so it's almost impossible for the stone to fall but my ring has so much meaning to me that I guess I overprotect it?!? lol!

I take my ring off as soon as I get home! Same as my watch. I do not cook with it or wear it around the house. I only wear it out. But I'm one of those people who comes home from work puts on pjs no matter what time it is and takes off all her jewelry.
