Do your vendors include tax?

Just wondering (other than reception)

if your vendors include tax??

Good question, but im pretty sure they do.. I know the price the florist drew up for me had tax included.

Hmmm its included in my photographer price.. but not listed on the Dj.. Do you pay tax on a service? Sadly I work for the IRS and have no clue how sales or state tax works...

DJ - Didn't
Florist - Did
Limos - Didn't
Photographer - Did

this is how it works, not all services are required to collect sales tax. usually if goods are changing hands (ie: flowers) sales tax is applied. but that's not always the case. it depends on the type of vendor. ps i'm not a nerd i work for an accountant

we paid tax on everything....i'd rather pay a few bucks extra and be able to sleep at night not wondering if my vendor is going to get in trouble

i'm pretty sure all our vendors did.. they would give us the price then add up the tax to let us know what our total would be.

yes....if something is to be taxed, you should pay for it. Never get involved with a company or rep who tells you that if you pay cash, you don't have to pay tax. God forbid something goes wrong.....you may have a problem on your hands. Tax isn't optional.....i wish it was
