Thats really up to you. I got one for one really big reason- I have a VERY short time in between my church and reception. I wanted to make sure there was enough time to take pictures. I got a DOC to move things along.
Also, DOCs are very helpful day of...keeping everything together and under control. I like the idea that no one has to worry about problems.
But thats just me. For some people, its just an added expense.

I have one ONLY because I don't want to be stressed out about anything on the day. I also wanted one to do coordinate the rehearsal for me.

i know i do!!! i think if you have the room in your bbudget to get one, do it!!! if only for the peace of mind (and they give you soooo much more)
