I was wondering the same thing! What is the price range for a DOC?

Some friends told me if I have a bridal attendant I don't need a DOC...but maybe I could hire one for the first half of the day, is that normal?

What does a DOC do for you before and the day of?

I'm personally not getting a DOC but I think they basically make sure everything runs smoothly the day of the event and deal with anything that could go wrong and all the vendor wrangling for you.

I know 2012 girls are using Christine from a Piece of Cake and the girls from A Modern Day Affair so maybe you want to start there and contact them and find out what they're offering.

Yes we do! I know I'll have a lot of help from my RH peeps but I'm definitely going to have a lot to set-up and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to events let alone my own wedding, so I'm debating it...

I actually remember reading a Modern Day Affair is having a sale for the Royal Wedding right now which I thought was super cute!

I wanted one originally but I have two MDs and two BAs so I just think anymore people will be overkill.

I have one! Laura from A Modern Day Affair.

I opted for the partial day coordinator, but they have a full-day package as well.

I chose one mainly because of the ceremony. I need to set up bows/flowers/candles along the pews, program distribution, rose petal distribution, etc. They do other things depending on the hours in your package.

I didn't want to give these tasks to friends and family. (side note***I have been tasked with this in the past and I would never do that to someone else...)

Yes! i am working on booking with A Modern Day Affair....my FH doesnt agree with spending extra $ for it because he thinks the family can handle it...but there are just somethings that you cannot have your family working on...I want them to be guests too you know? plus i am very anal and need everything done the right way....I heard they are good and feel confident about them!

Sorry the Royal Wedding special isn't for A Modern Day Affair, it's for Cheeky Glam Events.

Ive decided I NEED to have one. Fh doesn't have an opinion. I am having a 25 person BP (yes I know I'm crazy but i can't kick out the kids <3 !!!) Being that there are so many kids I need somebody to help get them ready and wrangle them. I have no desire to get my teacher voice on for my wedding day.

And yea, I'd like one real cheap! lol
