So I met with them and they were SUPER sweet and all but I am just really debating if this is something I should be spending money on! I am SO organized and really feel I am on top of all my planning...just not sure if it is worth paying someone $1,000 to make sure the placecards/pictures are exactly where I want them, etc. Hoping my RH can figure it out....
Part of me is thinking it will take some stress away to have them there but another part is saying I really dont need it!
Anyone have any advice on this?! I am so confused!!!

I booked Once Upon an Event as my DOC. Their prices were SUPER affordable and for how little they charge, it was worth it for me to have the extra peace of mind. I want to be able to relax and enjoy my day.

This!! I would not spend $1000 on a DOC but Once Upon an Event is very affordable and they are great. They are actually have a 2013 discount right now too.

Do you mind sharing how much they cost with me too? I have been on the fence with a DOC because I felt the $$ was not worth it but if it is reasonable I would DEF consider!

I booked cheeky they are amazing they are so worth their price. They have a lot of connections with certain vendors that give you discounts throw things in for free. They keep you with in your budget and I just feel less stressed about the whole planning since hiring them. I have a family members that drive me nuts. They said on top of the doc services you tell them how you want the day to go they will execute it to the best of their ability. Knowing my family and how they are and can drive me nuts. They are going to be the best investment of the wedding lol. Love them.

I think if you are super organized and have an awesome MD you should be fine. If you have the extra money then go for it but 1K seems like a lot.

I booked Cheeky for the entire day. I am very organized but no one in my family has gotten married in a long time, so I needed the help and expertise. I also feel like they will help with my anxiety on the day of. As someone mentioned above, they have a lot of connections and being a 'Cheeky Bride,' can end up paying for itself with the money you save!

This! We have rehersal and day of covered by AMDA. Although I have had time, and wanted to, do all the preplanning, I want someelse in charge during the actual event. I do not want to worry if they laid out my jordan almonds the way I wanted while I am walking down the aisle!

I'm using Cheeky, and so far I've booked most of my vendors through their referals! They're much more than a DOC, even if you book them for that. They're extremelly reliable and always open and willing to answer any questions that you may have. Also, they care! Jamie and Heather are now like friends rather than wedding planners. HTH!

Although I'm not using anyone I highly recommend A Modern Day Affair... I've known the girls there since HS and they are all AMAZING at what they do! You would be lucky to work with them!
