I laid down in one...and hated it! It was like sinking into a bowl of pudding. I felt like I couldn't reach over to my honey without having to crawl out of my own hole into his.
However.....my cousin says it's the best bed she's ever had, so go figure.....

I think Jim's mother has one...

He said he went upstairs and Buddy (our cat) is ALWAYS lounging on that bed. So he went to play with him and laid down.. he did leave for 10mins. He said it was sooooooooo comfy.

I haven't been up to try it yet. I mean I'd feel strange saying 'hey can I lay on your bed?'

But

She says she's giving us her bed (King Size) and frame ! WHOOHOOO

When FH & I were looking for our mattress we inquired about the Temperpedic, & what the gentleman told us was very interesting- (whether it's true or not I don't know- so take it w/ a grain of salt)
Obviously b/c of the name it's temperature sensitive, so the firmness of the mattress will vary depending on the temp. in your house. (ie: if it's 80*, the mattress will be quite soft, if it's 55*, it will be harder). I didn't want my mattress to change whenever the temp. did, so we got a different mattress instead. Then again, I know some people who really like it.

I have a bad back, so my doctors have recommended it (2 of them have one). its supposed to be the best if you have back problems. I've heard it's hard to get used to, but it really eliminates back pain. We're gonna check them out when we get married. If you don't have back problems though, I don't see a reason for the expense.
