Does anybody NOT like lennox and hummel and things like that?
I dont know what it is but the style is just not 'me'. I feel so bad becasue people have sent lennox things and they want them to be sentimental amd displayed in my house, but I just dont like them. Please tell me im not the only one?

I am not a 'collector' really of anything. I have 2 hummels because they were my mom's and I kept them for sentimental reasons when she died- I put them out at Christmas time. I'm sort of afraid of being known as someone who collects stuff because everyone I know that collects something gets TONS of it as gifts.
ETA: so what do you do with the stuff you get like this as gifts? We got a slightly used Lladro as an E-gift and I don't know what to do with it.

Im NOT big fan. I like some of the new lennox vases. I have a few pieces that were my grandmas though, and those I will treasure

Melissa, I'm not a big fan either. I mean the occasional Lenox vase or a Christmas ornament, but I'm not big on collecting or displaying plates, etc.

I am so not a 'stuff' person. I call my husband nick nack king. I like open and clear spaces rather then a clutter of collectables

no idea- but i told my mom that i dislike lennox and to tell anyone that is going ot buy me a gift not to get it for me. my fh;s aunt gave us a vase - its beige - i guess i can find a place for it, but my decor is minimalist and slightly modern and the beige and gold vase just doenst look nice. my mom told me to return it but fh would probably get mad so im just going to put it away and maybe take it out when his family comes over.

I don't like lenox stuff and other collector-y things. None of it is ever my style, and it's usually just taking up space.
Mr Boots' mom has truckloads of this stuff (lladro, lenox, those carousel horses) she loves it and keeps saying she'll give it to me when we get married. I take that as a threat!
I just generally dislike recieving home decorating gifts. I prefer picking that stuff out myself.
ETA: We didn't even register for fine china because it seemed like such a waste for us. His mom freaked all the way out when we told her that!

ME TOO!! I hate them.
I can't stand any of the statue stuff- Hummel's Lladros.... and I don't like gold, so I definitley don't like the Lenox Cream & Gold stuff.

I made the mistake once of saying I like lighthouses, and for christmas that year, I recieved 7 different lighthouses.
It does make gift giving easy though when someone loves that stuff.
