Does anyone else do this? Clothes related.

I left work early to do my winter/summer clothing swap. I feel like I just want to get rid of 80% of my winter clothes and start fresh next year! Does anyone else get the urge to purge their wardrobe??

Absolutely, i make it look like i own nothing so i can go out and buy new stuff guilt free.

yes! I want to purge so bad but can't. I want to lose more weight.. It's soooooooo hard to not go out and buy new clothes.

YES!! I just did it on Sunday. I pulled all my winter stuff and tossed what I don't wear. it feels so good!

It also feels good to open my closet and see all tank tops!!!!!!!!!!!!

i started the 'switch' and yes i would love to ditch a ton of stuff instead of storing it but then i doubt myself and think i better hang on to it....
i did ditch a little...shhhhh!!!!!

Ok, so now that I'm not totally crazy, do any of you take out your out of season items for the first time and think, 'Oh I've missed you old friend capri pant or tank top!' or 'Oh, I'll see you in a year wool pants!'

Ok maybe I AM really insane...

I'm doing that now actually..I love seeing my spring/summer stuff!!

so glad to be getting rid of winter clothes and sweaters and boots. i have a big black bag of clothes i'm dumping. now i have lots of room for new summer clothes

nope i am cheap, i have clothes from high school

plus i hate shopping so it would just add to it

i do end up giving away at least a garbage bag full everytime i do the 'swap'

I don't purge my wardrobe until it's time to take out the next season's clothes. I mean I'm ready to do the swap and I will get rid of any summer clothes I didn't wear last year. It helps make space for new clothes. I figure if I do any purging at the end of the season I might miss something the following year.

I have no clue if that made sense.

no i def do that!! haha i guess we are both insane...

but i have some shirts that i just love love to wear and definitely a pair or 2 of capris that i am obsessed with. But tomorrow I am cleaning out my closet and draws and getting ready to change them over.

I really really want to go to the mall though and buy some new clothes!!

LOL this is why the 4 of us get a long so well. I'd bet money Jessie also has personal relationships with some of her clothing items!

We should shop. I NEED to find the perfect pair of espadrilles.

I just can't wait to make the switch b/c I am SO SICK of wearing my winter clothes!!! I feel like I cycle the same outfits over and over... time for some new stuff!!!
