they cannot seem to please anyone when it comes to planning the wedding. I wish planning this wedding was everything i always dreamed it would be. All it has been is one constant headache. I feel like i am so busy trying to please everyone else that my wedding is nothing like i ever wanted. I always wanted a small wedding in a tent outside, now i am having a 175 people at a hall. THis is not what i wanted. THank God i love my hall because otherwise i would really be mad. I don't like the church but that's a whole other story. I just want to smile and be happy while planning. Thank goodness that my FH and my BP is so sweet (and my parents too). I just would like to enjoy this time and not wish it away like i have been doing.
Sorry for venting, i am just fed up.

I am sorry to hear that. I feel the same way sometimes also. Everyone has their input about everything and you just want to do it your way because its yours and your FH's wedding. It happens once in a lifetime and your the bride, you decide.

Yes sometimes but then i realize the only people i really want to please is me, my fh and my parents...and act as such

so far it's been pretty smooth sailing (knock on wood)... both our parents have been supportive and are of the mindset 'it's your wedding', so besides coordination hassles and sticker shock, things have been relatively okay...
i am not one to say 'it's my day take it or leave it', i always try to consider other people and take the path of least resistance in order to be accommodating. i don't have many people complaining so i consider myself pretty lucky. if you feel yourself getting too railroaded i would start to put your foot down, but you can do it gently so you don’t feel like a bridezilla...
