Does anyone else get headaches daily?

I have had issues with headaches all my life, but lately I seem to get one everyday. I am eating advil like candy. Guess its time to go to the doctor and have them tell me that they have no idea what the problem is. Does anyone else get headaches on a regular basis?

I get a lot of sinus headaches. I can sometimes have 1 every day depending on the weather. I pop Tylenol Sinus on a daily basis....

Yes, mine were diagnosed as tension headaches. I take Advil every day... three at a time, like my doctor suggested. I also have prescription stuff to take when they get really really bad.

It's really tough...there is a doctor who is affiliated with North Shore Hospital that is doing a headache study. I know she is now taking clients for free if you participate. I am considering it. Let me know if you would like more info.

Has anyone got bad headaches from extreme heat? Like when someone has the heat cranked up? I was wondering if this exists because I think I got it.

I used to get headaches daily. Do you drink caffeine? I never had coffee, but I used to drink coke nearly every day. I went cold turkey off caffeine and after a miserable week or two I don't get the headaches anymore...

my dh suffers from cluster headaches, everyday. they are very painful.

I too frequently get headaches. However, I usually get dizzy spells with them. I went to a ear/nose/throat doctor and was diagnosed with benign positional vertigo. I was treated and feel a 100 percent better! You might want to consider seeing a doctor so that you don't have to suffer everyday!

I didn't think that this would be so common. I have tried giving up caffeine before, but my headaches only got worse. I'll give the Green Tea a try and I guess I need to schedule a visit to the doctor. Thank you all for your advice!!!

I get awful headaches and I pop anything on hand at the moment. I get different types though which means basically every day, I suffer. I get tension headaches from driving and stress, sinus headaches from the heat in the house during the winter, migraine headaches that center around my eyes that make me so sick and I even get headaches because I have tmj. The doctors just keep telling me there is nothing they can do. I drink a lot of caffeine (I love coca cola) and when I try to stop they just get soo much worse. I recently got glasses which have helped a little bit but from one headache sufferer to a bunch of others..I truly feel your pain!

I don't know what 'type' of headaches you're getting, but in terms of herbs, have you tried FEVERFEW?
It's recommended for migraine sufferers (like myself). It helps to maintain normal blood vessel tone. It pretty much helps w/ the pressure in your head. Maybe you could give it a try. It DOES take time to get into your system & work though.

I've had headaches since I was in HS. All of my *notes* I passed to my friends started out with 'I have a headache but what else is new?'.

NOTHING works for me but Imitrex and even that doesn't always work. I've had three MAJOR attacks in the last week and have been miserable.

im a migraine sufferer... where can you find feverfew... do you take it everyday or only when you get the headaches?

You take it daily, like a vitamin.
You can find it at any health food store.

I actually take daily meds for my migraines- TOPAMAX. I'm on a super low dose. It's really for epilepsy, but they find it works wonderful for migraines. I've been doing WONDERFULLY with it! I swear I would smoke crack if it meant never getting a migraine again! (Fellow migraine gals, you can understand).

I use to get them daily. I now take a medication every day to help prevent them and have a second med to take if I start getting one.

ETA: the daily med I take is TOPAMAX also and yes it is really an anti-convulsant med but that cant hurt me since I also take other meds for epilepsy!

The other med that helps alot when I do start getting one is RELPAX.

he was on a very low dosage. but the side effects were horrible.

I do- in my cheek and above my left eye. I went to the doctor, who brushed it off as tension. But I don't know- I even got them on my honeymoon, when I truly had NO tension at all. I am thinking about going back to the doc, but I hate that I have to push so hard. I really don't think it's tension-related.

I feel your pain (no pun intended! and hope your doc has some answers for you!
