That is horrible, I hate selfish people. I would just enjoy your planning and focus more on the positive folks out there (like your future husband)!
Sorry you have to deal with this!
you're so right. I told FH last night that he's the only person I can depend on. He's just AWESOME and I love him more and more everyday!
I also have an awesome girlfriend who has really helped me A LOT with my vendors, my dress, etc. Thank God for her!

Re: Does anyone else have this problem?
Wow, you guys hit a nerve. My sister (who has a very good heart but is INCREDIBLY flaky especially where family is involved) was originally my moh. She was treating our family really really poorly, I called her on it and we had a HUGE argument. She didn't speak to me for >3mos (which at that point was fine with me!). We have just started trying to talk again...I asked her if she still wants to be 1) in the wedding party 2) moh. She tells me she wants to be in the wedding party, but has to 'think about' the moh part, but GET THIS...still wants to make a toast at the wedding. I feel like she wants attention and look like things are all wonderful without having to actually be involved in any planning or effort. Unfortunately, we have never been that close and though I really do love her as a sister, she is not who I am closest to. I'm thinking of just asking one of my best friends and being proactive rather than waiting around for another drama session.
I'm a little angry about this, can you tell?
Anyway, so sorry you're dealing with this!!! Just remember it is our day and it will be wonderful whatever (sometimes crappy) sisters do!

wow, sorry to hear that. I'm not happy anyone has problems like mine, but it's nice to know I am not the only one.
I really wish I could tell both my sisters to kiss my ***.

Yeah, I have moments where I wish I could say the same thing. At least we'd feel better (at least for a little while)
