Does anyone else NOT like the way they look in black?

Blakc is supposed to be neutral, basic, right?

I just tried on a gorgeous dress & not only was it not the right cut of rme, I realized black is't' a good color for me. Especially by my face, I do wear black pants sometimes.

Isn't that weird? I thougth everyone looked good in black?

LOL I wear it anyway. To work I usually wear black pants.

And I think that brown is a lot more flattering on my pale skin.
Black is a bit harsh sometimes!

I don't I don't! You aren't a weirdo! My two least favorite colors (to wear or otherwise) are brown and black. One of the other ladies mentioned doing a red load of laundry--I often do an orange load. Whenever I do wear black it's ALWAYS with something bright (usually a shirt) because I just don't like the look otherwise.

I do like brown, but I lOVE orange! I am wearing orange right now!

For years I woldnt' wear bright colors, b/c it jsut doesnt' go with my personality. That's why I have entire burgendy loads of laundry!

And Diane, maybe it is the shininess of a black bathing suit? OR mayeb b/c you see more skin , it is more obviosu. For me its black dresses more that anything ( I don't wear bathing suits at all) & I think it is the same reason. You see more skin & and the only color on me then is black.
