Does anyone else worry about having the $ to pay for all this?

I mean, I'm working and fiance is too and we have a 'budget' but I just freaked out today because the wedding's in a few months and a lot of the money is supposed to come in (income tax return, etc.) so if God forbids something happens, we're screwed. Anyone else worry about this? Just typing it gave me palpitations.

I worry about money constantly. I hate being in debt so this wedding is driving me nuts. The worst part is when I start to think about how much I am struggling to save for a wedding, my mind starts to race and I think about a house and kids and everything that I want after the wedding. Ughh...

well thats it we have a house and 2 kids so we are also paying for after school activities and we are Santa Claus at Christmas so we went broke......We will do it
I just went over budget a little so we should be ok

Glad to hear it! I was starting to worry for you! But you own a house, big PLUS, those taxes will surely come in handy!

I worry so much that I haven't been sleeping and when I do get a few hours of sleep... I've started grinding my teeth in my sleep which causes me to have migraines

I have been having sleepless nights as well and I haven't even booked my RH yet.

Just the thoughts of how we are going to pay for everything is literally making me sick where I had to take rest form LIW a couple of weeks ago.

oh my God I can totally relate!!!!! We try to stay in our budget as much as we can but something alwasy comes up. Not to mention, I feel like I am going to a baby shower or a baptism every other weekend. And I just got done going to 3 communion parties!!! As fast as the money comes in is as fast as it goes out!!! It will all work out, it always does!!!! Godd luck!!!

Cool, this got bumped....

OK for the brides to be...I was told many, many times to keep working and saving and not worry too much because the money 'shows up' somehow...well, apprently everyone was right. The money does show up and you get to have your dream wedding.

So try not to obssess too much - definitely budget, save and make those payments early. That's what I did and by the time May rolled around I only had to pay my hall.

We have the money for the wedding but I worry about after. I don't work in the summer and usually save all I need during the year. I have been trying to save for the wedding and the summer but its not going to happen. My FH could support me for a couple of months so its really all in my head. I keep telling myself we will be married and all the money ours but even though I own the home we live in, I still feel like I will have to 'ask' him for money. That just freaks me out!

Igrind every night to the point FH wakes me up.. Headaches are sooo bad.. Becareful, i chipped a tooth once

I'm getting married on Saterday and The $$$$ is gone and then some, hey... its one day that you will remember for the rest of your life, enjoy it,( cause we'll be paying for it the rest of our lives!)

We are a bit. We are having a small wedding, and we're both older and pretty established in our careers, but it's still a boatload of money.

I'm finding myself dropping $100, no problem! for certain things and thinking, 'that's not bad.' Me--the Filene's Basement clearance rack shopper! They are things we need, and I can't say we're going wild, but I can see how it would be easy to do that.
