when your FH is or becomes friends with a girl or when he wants to hang out with just the guys? I need to make sure I'm not alone here. Is there any way to stop the jealousy?

sometimes I feel that way. I'm not sure about stopping the jealousy, but putting it a bay: you could meet the girl and see that she's not a threat to you and your FH. As for the guys, there's really nothing you can do, he needs time to hang out with his friends. You can try planning on hanging out with your friends at the same time so that you don't miss him so much.

Honestly, no. I love it when he hangs out with just the guys. The so rarely get to anymore with all their different work schedules and now some have kids so I think it's great when they get together. As for the girls... FI still talks to two of his ex girlfriends. I know that they''re just friends and I trust him.

my fh never had any Girls he was just friends with ...besides his friends g-friends i guess so i never experienced that .....but i like it when he goes out with the guys its good for the relationship...now if he does it all the time i think there would be a problem

I like when FH hangs out with the guys. He has quit a few female friends and I'll admit I get jealous sometimes. I totally trust him though!!

I know how you feel. I don't get jealous when he hangs out with the guys but I'm not thrilled if they go to a bar or something. Just don't like it.

I have no issues with him hanging out with the guys....he hardly ever gets to do it and I know he misses it. I don't have any issues with him with female friends....I trust him.

Same here. I encourage him to make plans with the guys because they rarely get to do it anymore. As for the girl thing, my FH's best friend in the world is a girl which at first I worried a little about, but she is now one of my best friends too. Her, her husband, and her daughter are all in the wedding!

After you're engaged I do not think it's appropriate for someone to develop new personal friendships with people of the opposite sex. If it's an old friend of his who is married or something I would't care.

yeah i agree with this and my FH is pretty much the same now-- in HS he had a lot of girl FRIENDS but not really anymore... i do enjoy when he goes out every once in a while b/c it's nice and then when he comes home it's like we miss each other that much more--which is cute. and i usually go shopping with my mom and sister or hang out with my friend jess so it's pretty equal-- we both go out at different times but the same amount...

I know a lot of people do. FH really doesn't have any girl friends so I don't have that issue, all the people we basically know are couples. But I think if he did I might be a bit jealous.... XOXOXO Kitty

I am not a jealous person. Sometimes though I do get annoyed when FH is out w/ his buds and forgets to call or text.
But I always 4get to call or text so I do understand.

I've always been a jealous person but I'm happily surprised that I don't worry about him having female friends or going out with people without me. He trusts me, I trust him and it's great. All of his friends have become friends to me, too, as mine have become his, so it all works out.
