does anyone ever just want to

quit their job and do nothing??

i love my job and am doing exactly what I said i wanted and what i went to school for... but lately I just have no desire to work...

i want a job with no responsibility - does that exist?!

i do human resources so I do all policy and i'm involved in terminations, etc.

I'm seriously considering going to school to learn how to do facials... i think i'd like that...

maybe i'm juist brned out and need a vacation...

I also work in human resources and I like my job too but I feel like you...I just don't feel like doing anything right now. I'm also looking to get another job because i'm not feeling challenged enough right now at my current company so I feel ya. You can always go to school part time. That is what I'm doing. I'm doing my master's in Elementary Education so hopefully I can teach. So if you have a passion for something else, maybe do something on a part time basis. I don't know if I'll stay in HR but I do like the job. But I feel ya hun

the thing is i just finished my masters in 05... so i'm kind of done with school... i don't know... i'm just venting!

i totally understand how you feel and i've been feeling like this for a while...i even started a new job in september and i'm totally not liking it here...

i also would love to go back to school for massages/facials and maybe open my own spa

or go to baking school and open a bakery...

but in the end i'd love to not do anything and be a super housewife/mom...i think i just have really bad work ethics

My current job is not my true passion - So I often have the desire to just get up and leave!! So I think once I am working in the field that I enjoy it will be different. Right now I am at my desk with pictures of shoes laid out on my desk tryng to make a decision and I just finished my taxes

Wow - I'm HR too and feeling totally burned out! I have no desire to do anything here lately myself. It could be a combination of the job and wedding brain though.

I LOOOOVE what I do , but HATE where I am !!!! I want to work in a new place with new people, the kids are very hard and the people that work there make it 10 times harder!!!!
