...how expensive hotel rooms in the NYC/LI area are?

Even with discount prices for blocks of rooms, our guests will be shelling our anywhere from $150-$200 (tax incl.) per night for our wedding!

I just feel so bad even telling them about these hotels, but they are cheaper with the discount (the hotels are close to the church, but we'll still provide transportation to the church and reception and back)

i know our room block the rooms are 155 plus tax - most hotels outside ny are muchhh cheaper

i feel bad - thats why FH and I are considering chippin in like $50 for a couple of reallllly close friends. Even though Im not so crazy about that idea.
