The Liberty is a really nice truck too....Someone at work bought one. They got a dark blue limited...almost $30,000 and they didnt get leather. It was so expensive

We have a 2003 Jeep Liberty. We went first to invoicedealers.com and got the invoice price - not the MSRP price which was over $1,000 discount PLUS the car show was on at the Javits center at the time and we got an additional $500.00 car show rebate. We only ended up paying $23,000 for ours.

We LOVE it. No problems to speak of but it DOES EAT GAS, however, any SUV you buy over 4 cylinders will eat gas.

fortunately if we buy one of these cars...we have a fixed price of 1% below invoive (chrystler will refund the money to the dealer)

now we just have to decide on one and negotiate our trade in

thanks for everyones help...

we went to look at the dodge dorango, but they didn't have any 4x4s...and we have a beach house that we need to drive on the sand sometimes...so we needed the 4x4...

so that didn't work

we went to a couple of different jeep dealers - and most were low-balling our trade in ($1000 less from Kelley), but we finally got one to come within $200 of Kelley and bought a Jeep!!! a Wrangler...I had owned one before and DH really wanted one...We figured that we will keep this one for a long time and give it to our first child...but I think when our family begins to grow...we will get a Cherokee...
