Does anyone have any stomach problems?

Sure...the sublingual medication is called hyoscyamine. It dissolved under your tongue for faster relief. Usually when I take it (once in a blue moon now- thank god!) it completely knocks me out. I fall into a deep sleep. But that might not be for everyone. I was prescribed this after having to go to the hospital 2 times for the shot.
I haven't had to take it in a long time since I control my IBS through diet. And if I know I am going to be eating somewhere that may send my belly into a spasm, I take my regular medication about a 1/2 hour before eating. (dicyclomine)

I have GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)... I had it under control for about 3 years but it has been worse last couple of weeks... I really need to watch what I eat or I pay for it, it totally stinks

hmmm....I NEVER knew this!!! Seems like just about everything can cause something these days. So things like Equal can cause Gas?? So weird and interesting.

I've def learned that working out does not help my IBS. It's triggered by diet and stress!!

and to answer an earlier post...the shot is something they give you in midst of an attack that stops the stomach from having painful spasms!

and dicyclomine is good...however i have found that if you take it every day, your body becomes used to it...meaning it stops working. (by that can all just be in my head, lol). since i maintain the IBS under control with diet...I only take the dicyclomine if I know I am going to be eating out

I have mild IBS, I don't take any drugs for it, but it's pretty darn annoynig!

What kind of symptoms do you have?

if i get stressed- right ot the bathroom- literally instantly

like today..wedding conversation left me stressed- right to the bathroom

its INSTANTANEOUS but with all the wedding sh!t, im losing weight from the the stress

Major stomach cramps, back pain, sensivitiy to certain foods, gas, burping, and other things but you get the picture ...This week has been HORRIBLE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE Oh and leg pains which I just read is a symptom....my GYN has been telling me for years to go to a GI doctor....I always thought my problems were female problems BUT I am seeing thats not it

For peace of mind, you should see a GI doctor. If it's any consolation, after seeing one, it really set me on the right track to feeling better. I'm not 'cured' but I don't feel awful nearly as often as I used to.
