I have a small rash (sorry if gross or TMI but I am skeeved myself ) on my hand. It went away after a week and then came right back again. I have never had anything like this and have not used any new products. It burns a little. I tried looking up info on eczema and I will see the derm this week if I can, but I wanted to see if anyone thinks it sounds like that?

Eczema get worse in the winter because your skin dries out. Try a moisturizer until you can get to the derm. Maybe one with out perfumes and such would be good.

I don't have eczema, but I do have psoriasis...they're pretty similar.
It usually doesn't burn me, but I guess if it's really dry, it could.
I would definitely call the dermatologist this week to ask about it.

Sounds like eczema.....try some keri lotion until you can get to Dr. ALSO....take warm NOT hot, hot showers and use a moisturizing soap like dove....dial, ivory and others tend to dry out skin, making eczema worse....also aveeno products are great if you have itching(Can you tell I have been through this recently??!!! ) Feel better!

i have it!!!! ever since i was a kid...... used to get it in my armpits....man was that bad! sorry....TMI you can use a cortizone cream on it and that should help it...that's what my mom always gives me and i trust her because she's a nurse. good luck....it's not fun!

mine goes away and then comes back when i aggravate the area...usually in the summertime when it's hot and i get sweaty... but i dont' get it every year...so i think if you take pecial care of the areas you know you are prone to get it, you should be ok.

I had eczema on my stomach.. it was gross.. I got a prescription for it nad it went away.. but she (my dermo) told me to stop taking hot showers *yeah right* and to use cream NOT lotion.. I use eucerin.. and nivea.

I've had eczema/psoriasis my whole life. It is worse in the winter from the cold and dry heat. It does flare up in the summer when I'm sweaty and sticky. I get it on my face, arms, neck and back of my knees. Truthfully, sometimes its unbearably itchy and not a good sight to see. My dermatologist gives me topical corticosteriods and they work amazingly. Hoever, now that I am PG, I can't use the Rx creams, so I've been using every mosturizer known to man. With my case, nothing works, not even vasoline! I have yet to find anything that stops the itch - cortizone doesn't work and neither does anything that says it does... I hate it, but there's not much else I can do for now!
