i am doing a break-away centerpiece for my engagement party. i will not have those pics until the party on 10/31. but, i did notice the exact centerpiece in the summer 2004 BRIDES issue. i do not remember exactly where i saw it but i was in the 'flower' section that was mentioned on the front cover. let me know if you find it. i will see if i can find the exact page for you. (the picture of the centerpiece is small silver vases w/ ivory roses)

Our centerpieces broke apart into individual plants for the guests to bring home...

Here is a pic of a sample Breakaway CP that Laurie from LA Blossom did for me. The colors & flowers are different than what I'll actually be using for my Wedding, but I just wanted to get an idea of size, height, etc... -sorry the vases are crooked in the pic- PS- The vases are really nice- and Heavy- they are a favor in themselves!

I think we will be doing breakaways around the central pieces. At least those are our current sketches.

I guess I have been living under a rock because this is the first time I ever heard about this centerpiece option! Gotta love this site!
Now I am heavily considering it! I know I always get bummed out when I can't take the centerpiece home myself! Now everyone gets a little piece of the action!

We are considering centerpieces of varying sizes to compliment the bigger center piece in the middle. We have oval tables so I think it will work. We are using the same vase shape just two or three different sizes.
