does anyone have T Mobil

Fi and I are finally going to buckle and get cell phones. We gave them up 3 years ago and now we finally buckled and realized we need to get back into the cell phone society

We are thinking of going with T Mobil.

Can you give me feedback about them (the good, the bad, packages, customer service, etc...)

Also is there a contract???

I HATE THEM. I have them now for two years and I have had nothing but problems. I have had about 8-9 phones from them because everyone they send me seems to break. Some of their customer service people are nice but most of them are horrible. I can not wait until my contract is up.

I have about 3 cell phones sitting in my draw...couldnt i just re hook up my old phone..

i really dont want to buy a new phone when i have 3 sitting in my draw

If they were not purchased from T-Mobile than you can not do that. You have to purchase one of their phones.

i dont have it because it's not as popular out here in california yet. but FH has had it for years (well it was voicestream before but i guess it got bought out). he hasn't had any problems with it and loves the phone .. he had the T-81 and still has it. he also has the palm that works with t-mobile. i'll probably get it when i move out there as well. they have good mobile-to-mobile plans which is what we're really looking for.

My first cell phone was with OmniPoint, which then became VoiceStream, which is now I think T Mobil. I would not recommend them at all. I have had such a bad experience with them. First it started out with horrible service (but this was a few years ago so hopefully it's better now). I had signed up for a 6 month contract and when the 6 months was up I tried to cancel. They told me the do not have 6 month contracts and I would be charged $250 if I cancelled. So I figured I'd just stick it out for another 6 months. In the meantime, my phone was stolen and I ended up being able to cancel my service, but for almost 2 years they were billing me every month for some State 911 tax! I would call every month to complain and they would take the charges off (after waiting on hold for at least a half hour), but the next month I would get a bill again!!! I finally (I think) got the problem taken care of about 2 months ago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Anyway, sorry so long. I just had to vent-I HATE this company!

Melissa: AT&T is the best cellphone provided. So going with them would be the best choice.

i had verizon until we found out about TMOBILE's family plan. yes verizon's service is the best and tmobile's doesn't compare--you get the most from your money with TMOBILE--we jsut renewed our contract with themwe have the family share plan and we have unlimited weekends and unlimited calls between our two phones and anyone else who has the family share plan with tmobile. their service is getting better-and their customer service is top notch!

I have the family share plan with At&t and I like their service, but I am beginning to think that the family share plan is not for us anymore sometimes there are better plans that the family ones. You can't get nights & weekends for the family plan and you also can't regional service. I think I am goign to change my plan to one of these other ones, because they ahve a new thing that between att phones there are free calls for a certain charge per month.

Be careful with AT& T in Queens. I had at&t a while ago and had no problems. Then I switched to MCI (which I HATED b/c their customer service was SOOOO BAD). Then when my contract was finally up with MCI, I switched back to at&t. I returned the phone and cancelled with at & t 2 days after I got the phone. I couldn't get service anywhere in Queens. On Long Island it was fine, but in Queens it was horrible. At&t may have improved by now, this was last year. So now I have Verizon and am soo happy with it.

I had AT&T 3 years ago and loved them. I never had any problems and loved there customer service

At that time Brian had Sprint. we both shut off our service and now feel its time to get back into technology.

so we are starting our search for cell phone service.

we've narrowed it down to AT&T and TMobile.

We're weighing the good and the bad. who offers more for the money, etc...

I have t mobil and this is my 2nd time with them.The first time was a good experience, the second time has been horrible! I got my new phone in December, and I already have gone thru 2 batteries , and the phone did not work where it was supposed to where I was traveleng a few weeks ago. When my contract is up I think I am going back to Verizon. I had no trouble with Verizon at all.

FH and I have T-Mobile, family plan between the two of us. My phone is a Motorola, and I have no problems with it.

So far it seems to be going well, most of the calls we make are to each other, so we do save a lot of money.

you can get free phones with t-moble...but I bought DH a really nice phone from them (with camera and screen for games...etc)

its been very good...so far..(knocking on wood)

edited to say: we also have T-zones...which is pretty cool...we were in CA for a big Jets game and DH was able to get min to min updates on the phone...since it wasn't on TV
