Does anyone know how to erase a home computer's history files?

I have directions at work on how to do it for the office computer. But, I want to clear my history on the home machine.

Do you have Netscape or Internet Explorer? Do you mean the history of where you surf on the web?

If you go to the control panel, internet options. The bottom box clears the history. There's also an option to delete cookies & temp files which also leaves a trail
