Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

not exactly what you were looking for, but if you change the serving dish and remove the food coloring I think this will work:

Ingredients
4 cups cold milk, divided
1 (3.9 ounce) package JELL-O Chocolate Fudge Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 (3.4 ounce) package JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
3 drops red food coloring
3 drops yellow food coloring
12 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies , crushed
3 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles

Directions

1 POUR 2 cups of the milk into large bowl. Add chocolate fudge flavor pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Fill 10 to 12 (7 oz.) glasses or plastic cups about 1/2 full with pudding mixture.

2 Pour remaining 2 cups milk into another large bowl. Add vanilla flavor pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Stir in a few drops food coloring to tint mixture orange. Spoon orange mixture evenly over chocolate mixture. Top with crushed cookies.

3 Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with Halloween sprinkles.

4 Note: Pudding cups can also be served frozen. Use plastic or paper cups, not glasses. Freeze 3 hours or until firm.

I've also had it with gummy worms in the 'dirt'

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

Here's another way, although I don't remember using VANILLA pudding, I've always used CHOCOLATE!

Dirt Dessert

2 small packages of vanilla instant pudding mix
4 cups of cold milk
1 large container of frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 - 6 ounce package of miniature chocolate chips
1 large package of Oreo cookies, crushed to crumb consistency
Gummi worms
1 child's sand bucket and shovel, cleaned thoroughly

Mix the pudding according to package directions.
Allow it to set for a few minutes, fold in the whipped topping and chocolate crumbs.
Put half of the pudding mixture in bottom of the sand bucket.
Top with half of the cookie crumbs.
Layer with the remainder of the pudding and then the rest of the cookie crumbs.
Top with the Gummi worms, chill.
Use a shovel to serve.
Variation: To make individual servings, layer the pudding mixture and cookie crumbs into plastic cups.
Use the pipe cleaners for the handles and plastic spoons for the shovels.

You mean like this?

Easy Dirt Cups

Ingredients
1 pkg. (16 oz.) OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

1 tub (22 oz.) JELL-O Ready-To-Eat Chocolate Pudding

1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

8 to 10 (7-oz.) paper or plastic cups

Gummy worms or other gummy candies for garnish

Preparation
CRUSH cookies in zipper-style plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor.

MIX pudding and whipped topping in large bowl until blended.

PLACE about 1 Tbsp. of the crushed cookies into each cup. Fill cups about 3/4 full with pudding mixture. Top with remaining crushed cookies.

REFRIGERATE until ready to serve. Garnish with gummy worms as desired. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

This was just a big bowl of I think whipped cream and chocalate pudding with crushed oreos and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't seperate cups and there was no sprinkles.
Anyone else know? I was thinking of making it this weekend.

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

These are the right recipes, I think the last one posted is the one I've used. You don't have to separate them into little cups, put it in one big bowl and serve! It's delicious no matter what! YUMMY!

I've made the pudding like it says, put half in a tray, sprinkled half crumbled oreos on top, then filled the rest up with pudding and then the rest of the crumbled cookies. you can decorate or serve which ever way you like!

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

This is the one I use but with Kit Kat's.

Chocolate, oor devils food cake mix whichever you like.
1 package of chocolate instant pudding mix
1/2 cup of kahlua, (if you don't have kahlua you can use strong brewed black
coffee)
carton of cool whip
package of Hershey's Sweet Escapes crisp bars, I use KitKat chopped it fine.

1. Bake the cake and put aside to cool completely. Once cooled just
tear cake into pieces.
2. Make the instant pudding
3. Chop the wafer bars

In a bowl layer cake, add some kahula, add pudding, cool whip and wafer
bars, all in layers.

Continue the above step until all your ingredients are finished. It's like
making a lasagna. Once it's all done, put in fridge to chill.

ENJOY

Just for variety, you can mix chocolate and vanilla cake, pudding etc. You
can also add some walnuts, it gives it a nice crunchy flavor

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

EH, who cares! haha! You're married already! LOL!

If you're going with the Easter theme, are you going to decorate it a bit? I put it in a plastic flower pot and decorated it with fake flowers for one Easter. I thought it was clever! lol!

Have fun making desserts!

Re: Does anyone know how to make the dessert....

I'm not cooking dinner. I'm just bringing desserts so I will not be decorating.
And I can't eat too bad even though I'm married.
The pounds go on just as easy.
