Does anyone know of a Catholic Church near Malverne that accepts non-parishioners?

Our church(Our Lady of Lourdes) is going to be under construction during our wedding so they put us in the chapel of another parish-St. Thomas the Apostle in West Hempstead. We went to look at the chapel and it is soo small. We will never be able to fit in there. St. Thomas the Apostle will not let us get married in their church because we are not parishioners I don't know where else to go. My FI and I are fighting about this all the time and the other night we almost broke everything off. I am soo scared we won't have anywhere to get married. And I am so tired of fighting about this all the time. Can someone please help?

PS. It needs to be a pretty big church and maybe even a wide aisle because I really wanted my mom and dad to walk me down the aisle. Thanks is advance

You looked at the Chapel on Hempstead Avenue. St. Thomas has a big beautiful Church on Westminister Blvd. off of Hempstead Tpke.

Here is the link:St. Thomas

If that doesn't help you go on www.masstimes.org and it will tell you all the churches around your area with their websites.

Good luck and happy planning.

OLP is rather lenient, that's my parish. Try there.

Thanks everyone! We will try Our Lady of Peace. St. Agnes can't take us and St. Thomas won't let us in the church. They said we have to be parishioners
