I find I am starting to wish I had picked something else. Yes, I picked my ring. It's a beautiful round solitaire on a cathedral w/g setting. But I am wishing I had chosen some side diamonds.
I have suggested in passing to my Fh that I add some diamonds to the side and he seems a bit sensitive about it.
Am I the only one here? Am I wrong to want to change a ring that I picked? I feel so bad about this.

Me tooooo! I have a single lucida diamond on a plain platinum band. They said I could always add side diamonds for anniversaries. Can you add on to yours for anniversaries?? Make it a special occassion for sure. Not just b/c you are 2nd guessing it!

I love my ring more than anything. FH picked it out himself and I couldn't have done a better job myself. I did mention to him recently though that one of the baguettes on the side is a little crooked. it took me months to notice, but we agreed that we shoudl get it fixed when we go pick out wedding bands.

I did not pick mine out...but I love it completely! FH had it designed for me and used the stone from my promise ring (tanzenite) next to the diamond...so it would have a connection to the first ring he got me.
The only thing I concidered changing was the tanzenite on my engagement ring..because the promise ring stone was more purple/periwinkle..and that's what I loved! I LOVE PURPLE! The engagement ring stones look blue...and everyone assumes they are saphires (though...they are WAY too plale to be saphires) but they are blue unless you really look hard. The higher quality apparently the darker the tanzenite.
I decided that this is the ring he gave me, so this is the ring I want. It's more about the meaning behind it anyway..and the design is beautiful! AND ALL FOR ME!

I do love my ring but I would mind changing the setting at some point. My tastes will change and as long as I keep the saem stone I'll feel OK about doinf that. My fiance picked this ring out. I told him the shape, size and metal I preferred and he picked out the setting... not too bad.

i picked mine out too and it is platinum with a round center and baguettes. Now, 2 years later, I wish I had gotten a solitaire and didnt have to have platinum so i could have gotten a bigger center stone. But, I still love it and picked it for a reason!

I would change mine if i could... been married now 4 months, been wearing the e ring for 18 months and yeah honestly, i'm kinda bored of it. Want to change the setting. But thats just me, i bore easily of jewelry.....

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring!
Jim designed it with the jewelry store. Took one ring and a necklace and Idea and imagination and made my ring. It’s unique.
Even if there had been a million of this ring, I’d still love it. He picked it out, he made it, he knew me VERY well. I wanted Gold, I waned Marquise.. the rest is all him.
I’d have been happy with a diamond chip on a string by the time he asked me to marry him! LOL
