When I was very young we used to stay out in the hamptons - and my parents used to take me to a place called Roberts for ice cream - it was all homemade with real fruit flavors and things like m&m ice cream. It used to be on a driving range and I think across from a country club and a cemetary maybe? All the cold stone threads brought this back to mind.
Does anyone remember this place? If so did it just close or did it move?

Being From the Hamptons Area, I totally remember THE BEST ice cream!! What happened is that a few years ago, a truck ran into the building, and it was damaged---a total loss, and they knocked it down----its Gone...nothing there anymore...and they did not reopen anywhere...
I Looooooved that ice cream!!!!!!

Coming from the West on the Sunrise, it was on the right hand side, the golf putting range is still there....ummm....right past where the Tavern is....Gosh do I miss that place---and Rob-loves-me....same thing happened to us...we first tried it the summer before it was GONE.....and we woudl go at least once a week.....since my dads office is right on that street.....
