Does anyone still get EAster Baskets from Mom and color eggs?

JennRenee - we did the same thing with the plastic eggs filled with money. Somtimes dad would use real eggs (he'd write the $ value of the egg on its shell with a pencil), sometimes he'd use the plastic ones. (The plastic ones made it easier for him to hide them in sneaky places!)

Since I moved out of the house 5 years ago, I don't get a basket anymore unless I come home for Easter. So now I make a basket for FH and me. We always have the big chocolate Easter bunnies, and since FH is into drag racing, last year I got him a chocolate Peter Rabbit in a race car! He loved it so much that he played with a it like he was a little boy, complete with car noises and all!

we are going to color eggs for the first time on Friday night! We have never done that because I thought my husbadn didnt like hard boiled eggs and I didnt think I would want to eat them all!! LOL...he now informs me that he likes egg salad...so off to the store to buy 2 dozen eggs so that we can color them!!

ahhhhhhh men!! they say woman are indecisive!! hmmmmmmmm.....think again boys!

No easter basket for me but I do color eggs!!! ANd eat PEEPS
