That just because people are family that they have to get along?

Definitly not - My FH's sister treats him like garbage at times, but then when it is convenient she is like 'family comes first' that is b-s. You are born into a family, you didn't choose them. You get to choose who you are friends with!

Definetly not...I have so many family members that I do not get along with and I do my best to ignore them.

My entire family hates each other. This is why I laugh. I sometimes think I'm adopted b/c I'm the only one who gets along with most. My dad hasn't spoken to any of his sisters in like 15 years and my mom doesn't talk to one of her brothers and the other one gets on her nerves after an hour. And those two don't talk to each other - they've hated each other from birth. My wedding will probably be the last time they're all in the same room together until one of them dies, to be honest. Family drama s u c k s.

Nope you do not have to get along with family...there are people I have disagreements with...I say my peace and move on with my life...thats how I handle family when they are out of control. The saying is true....you can pick your friends but you can't pick your family!!

In a perfect world, but unfortunaltye some of your worst enemies will be family members. I have a cousin that I don't speak to and I don't think I ever will.

Sometimes you have to cut people out of your life. If they are being distructive to you and having a negative impact thats what you have to do. Its their loss T.

Definately not. My mom and brother don't get along (never have), my FH and his younger brother don't get along...I can name 3 or 4 more things off the top of my head. EVERYONE getting along in a family will never happen. People are just too different.

I will, what happened? Are they stressing you out. Dont let people give you a feel guilty talk. Just handle things graciously and everything will work out.

My mother is not doing a Thing but getting hurt by her own brother.I am so happy I am an only child .. I would NEVER deal with siblings that are Low Lifes..

I am so upset for the lack of respect for her..

Its so sad that family can be so cruel to eachother. especially at such important times in their lives.

Sometimes I Think its a blessing that John is an only child. I see my sister with her husband and his siblings and little bickerings back and forth..
and when it comes down to it, its sad to see siblings hate eachother or become 'morto' like you said...for the stupidest reasons...

I hope your mom gets through this...
