Does anyone think that Vegas is too over the top.......

For a bachelorette party? I really want to go!!

Definitely dont think it is to over the top....If your girls dont mind spending the money,,then go for it!!!!!!!!!!!

No way! We went for my bf's and it was awsome. For mine we are going to Key West. It's a great excuse for a vacation!

I think it really depends on the people you are asking to go with you and whether or not they'd e able to do it. Keep in mind that usually the guests at a Bachelorette Party chip in to cover costs for the brides, and that there will be time off from work, hotel costs, and airfare as well as the expenses of anything that you guys end up doing together to cover. Soem people will be totally in for it I'd imagine and some people might have a hard time swinging it. You might want to run it by the girls in your bridal party, let them know that you really want to do it, and see if they think it is possible.

Absolutely not! We went to Vegas for my sister's bachelorette and had the best time!!! We have such great memories! For my cousin, we went to New Orleans. I love destination bachelorette parties!

I don't think so, but make sure your girls can afford it. They will all want to be there, so try to make sure they can all go first.

I do. I think asking people to spend all that money on a trip after asking them to buy a dress, shoes, chip in for a shower and possibly travel to the wedding is a bit much. I know most people on here will probably disagree with me, but that is my opinion.

I would definitely go as long as most of the bridal party could go, and if not you can always go to Vegas and do something small here. Go for it

i don't think it's over the top. i went there last month for my friend's bachelorette party. it was tiring, but a lot of fun.

I agree with you girls as well. It is over the top IMHO. Plus it excludes alot of people who may want to go but can't afford it.

for me it would be over the top- i probably wouldnt go to a friends either, too much $$$, time off from work, it would just be rough

It all depends on you. When I told my sister (MOH) I was engaged, the first thing she said was that the bachelorette party was going to be in Vegas. I thought it would be to far away and too expensive but all of the girls in my BP think its a great idea. It also helps that my sister lives in L.A. and my best friend gets a huge discount at New York New York. That will help cut down the cost. So Vegas here we come!!!
