Re: DOES ANYONE'S
Our date didn't have special meaning either. We knew we wanted a summer wedding, and we had to schedule around 6 other sets of friends getting married. The hall gave us 3 dates to choose from, and me being the wacko that I am, picked the one that was all even numbers and sounded the best when said, 08-18-02.
I know, I know. . . .I'm crazy!

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
Ours was supposed to coordinate with my grandfathers 100th birthday. Sadly he passed away about 7 months before the wedding.

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
We had to schedule our wedding around the 4 different squad schedules of the NYPD. They are all off and on at different times (we are inviting a ton of his cop friends) so we had to come to sort of agreement. And that agreement, after a false start (my original wedding date was Aug 9, 2003), is September 6, 2003 -all numbers divisible by 3!

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
No particular meaning, but we wanted a spring Sunday afternoon Wedding (didn't even know the price was cheaper), so that is what we got!

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
not really. september is a beautiful month and when we looked at the saturdays available, the 18th was in the middle. not to hot, not too cold, just the perfect weather.

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
Nope. We just wanted to have it when the weather was cool or cold outside= that's why: Nov. Both of us are ALWAYS hot & we didn't want to be uncomfortable that day.

Re: DOES ANYONE'S
No particular meaning either. His family lives in Ireland and they would wilt in the NY summer heat, so I knew it would have to be fall/winter/spring. And the flights are cheaper in November, right before the holidays. Plus the reception site was cheaper then as well.
