Does anyones FH want or wanted....

to register for anything weird?

We are about to start registering in a couple of weeks and FH wants to register for a Wii?! I know we can register for anything but a Wii...I don't think so. I would never see him. He would be glued to the tv.

We did register for a few wacky things ourselves as a couple. We put down for a BeerTender thing, which is like a refridgerated keg of some sort. And we also put down for this shower curtain that looks like a grass hula skirt. And we put down for a High School Musical wall clock because I love HSM, hahaha. It was fun putting that kind of stuff on. I figured if people buy it, that's cool. But there's so much for people to choose from, there really is no guarantee they'll buy it.

I say let him register for the Wii - it'll be fun! Haha.

Oh I would love to register for a Wii, but I don't think FH would let me!

I think that he should go for it--so many times the brides take charge of registering and the groom doesn't get a say. I also bet that FH's friends would love to get him that instead of a place setting or a blender!

Very unusual. I always thought it was things to help start your life out as a couple. For my FSIL that was married last year, I wouldn't buy anything relating to alcohol-wine glasses, etc, because FBIL is a recovered alcoholic (over 20 yrs) and doesn't drink. IMO I want gifts both can enjoy. FH wants all the knives from Pampered Chef. To me, that is fine because I know we will both use them. JMO.

I think that if you both are video players that you should go for it! Our guests bought us surprisingly pricey things....as my mom said, 'Just put it on...you never know'. FH will LOVE you even more for this one lol

That's great!! FH would totally love to register for an x-box. Of course as it is between the other systems he owns that would probably be the death of our relationship. We registered for an ice cream maker b/c he wanted it very badly (which is fine with me) but nothing else out of the ordinary.

FH already has a PS3 thats why i was against the Wii and its annoying watching him so addicted to it but then i realized this site is like my PS3 so I dropped the issue lol

Love the Wii, bought one for FH for Valentine's day last year!!! So far no other strange requests...but we still have to pick stuff out on our Fortunoff registry, so we'll see
