does anything scare you...

about having babies?

i think being a speech pathologist and working with students with multiple disabilities, having a child with disabilities scares me. would i be able to handle it?

giving birth really freaks me out..... but from what I hear you forget the pain after you see your baby.

Being pregnant scares me, childbirth, the thought of having a child with disabilities, the thought of having a child period, being a mom... so basically everything

yet I really really want kids!

Yeah you are probably going to poop lol..but at that point I wont give a crap (pardon the pun)..I will probably be cursing at everyone and plotting FH's death

I am scared of childbirth as well. I walked into the run right after my sis had my niece and it looked like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre had just happened in that room. I have been petrified on childbirth eversince.

I know this sounds terrible but my biggest fear is that the child is going to get on my nerves after a while! I want kids sooo badly but I find I have so little patience for my brother (who is 9) that it makes me wonder if I can handle being a mother and dealing with a screaming child in the middle of the night... This is by far my biggest worry about becoming a parent!

I am looking forward to being pregnant but scared of the end result after 9 months of the actual birth lol.

FH's nephew has a form of Autism (totally normal otherwise but CRAZY HYPER and listens to NOTHING/NOONE). His poor sister is ready to go to a loony bin and I don't think I could handle it. 1 in 70 boys has a form of Autism right now and it's so scary. I'm terrified.

And superficially, scared to never have my 'body' back. I work hard to have it!

the whole birthing thing doesn't scare me i am so into natural everything and will stick to my guns and prob have the baby at home if possible (normal healthy pregnancy)

however, the thought of being home alone with a little tiny baby if FH is at work and just being obsessive about making sure the baby is breathing SIDS scares the hell out of me
