Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I might borrow a pair of diamond earrings, but only if they look right with my dress. Otherwise, no.

Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I will borrow my mom's necklace. It was handed down from her mother.
I am also borrowing her great grandmother's bracelet, but that will be my something old, too.
And I'm borrowing a hankie.

Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I am borrowing my moms perfume for the day of. That was the best I could think of. If something else better comes along, I might change.

Maybe you can borrow an ankle braclet from a friend or relative? My friend is doing that as her something borrowed and I thought that was a good idea.

Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I don't have anything borrowed, but I'd like to find something. I might borrow gloves from my cousin, but I doubt I would even wear them in June so I don't know if that makes sense.

I don't think it matters but I understand not wanting to break tradition. Borrow something small like the bride that's borrowing perfume. You can also borrow a lipstick, hankie, a brush .....anything!! I'm borrowing my mom's wedding band for the ceremony b/c Jewish law requires a band w/out diamonds and mine is all bling

Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I had a something borrowed, my sister's tiara, but I decided to use hair pins and combs instead. So I still need my something borrowed and my something old.

Re: Does everyone have a 'something borrowed'

I have two choices:

-either i will borrow my sister's tiara--if it looks good with my hair
or -
I will borrow FSIL's diamond tennis bracelet.
