well..most of us don't know each other off the site either. There have been a few GTGs (get togethers) where we meet up so some people hav met off site. I've only been to 1 so I know a few of the girls. Some people were actually friends way before the site, but mostly we know each other from posting everyday. We actually know a lot abuot each other when I think about it...lol Try and make it to the next GTG if you can.

A GTG is a Get ToGether It's when we go someplace to meet up for coffee or drinks or whatever. Help with the lingo is right up there ^ on the green bar... it says chat lingo. if you click that it'll give you a list of frequently used abreviations and what not.
for instance... we dont all have sexually transmitted diseases. we're talking about our Save the Dates when we say STDs
Welcome to the site! I didnt know anyone when i first joined the site, and now there are girls on here who i've met in real life and consider good friends and other girls i've never met who i also refer to as my friends.
This site is great, and it's so much more than just a place to get planning advice.

welcome to the boards! I'm pretty new too! i signed up like a yr or 2 ago for my girlfriend's wedding, but didn't really start posting til i got engaged about 3 weeks ago, and i already feel at home here, and so will you!!! :)
