Does MOB need a bouquet?

My florist quoted aside from mine and bridesmaid bouquets - bouquets for MOB and MOG and corsages for grandmothers. Is he ripping us off or is this standard? I didn't know they needed flowers. Thanks!

No, I don't think they need BoKs but my mom and FMIL will wear corsages.

You should do flowers for the mothers, but it can vary what you do--some moms want corsages, some do nosegays....mine are either doing like 3 flowers tied together or flowers pinned to their clutches...neither wants anything too showy (or 'annoying' haha)

I've never heard of Bouquets for the mothers, they should def have flowers but I would go with a corsage or a wristlet -- it's up to you I guess

I am not a flower person i didnt want to spend any $ so i wasnt going to do flowers for anyone not in the wedding party. Then my mom said you have to have corsages for the mothers and grandmothers. My mom is walking me down so she too will have a corsage. The new thing is a bouget for the MOB. I guess its up to you but flowers for everyone seems to be the norm!

Ask the moms! My mom wants a small silk bouquet, actually, so that she can keep it. I have to ask FMIL what she would like. It's up to them!

I dont think they need bok's I think they just get corsages.

We got flowers for our moms but not a b-k....they had corsages and so did our grandmas,

My mother and FMIL will have a small bo-k
they won't be wearing coursages. I think the
bo-k's look nicer.

we plan to do corsages for the grandmothers and mothers. they don't need to carry a bouquet

you can do Boks if you want, but the norm is a corsage for the MOB

they can do corsages or a nosegay, which is a smaller bok (fewer flowers and shorter stems)

I have the same problem. My mother is giving me away and she was talking about carrying a bouquet, but I thought that would look odd...the two of us walking down each carrying a bouquet.

She doesn't want to wear a corsage...she doesn't like them...what do you do in this case? Does she carry a bouquet?

I don't think u've seen mothers carry bo-k's... our mothers and grandmothers will be wearing corsages though.

nahh. ive never heard of or seen that. you can do what youd like but its not at all necessary.

my florist made beautiful bracelets of flowers for the moms, its an alternative to a corsage.

some mom's prefer the tussie mussie (bo-k), while others prefer a corsage. we got the moms, grandmother, and god mothers corsages and each was different.
